Richard England C.Eng B.Eng (Hons) MIMechE
Richard has worked within the rail industry for over 20 years for companies: Network Rail, Mott MacDonald, Wentworth House Rail Systems, Keltbray, Kan Do Ventures, Newton Rail & Volker Rail.
Richard has held various key engineering positions in both design and construction of Engineering Manager, Contractors Responsible Engineer (CRE), Contractors Engineering Manager (CEM), Principal Engineer & Senior Project Engineer, Assurance & Compliance. He has extensive knowledge of the following UK OLE basic design ranges, OLEMI, West Coast Autotransformer Feeder (WCAF), UK1, Series 1, Series 2, GEFF & UK Master Series.
Richard has worked extensively on many UK railway project working both client side and contractor side and is well versed on project delivery throughout the GRIP stages; from feasibility, outline design, detailed design, procurement/BOQ's, construction, assurance/compliance, ITPs & validation, entry into service (EIS), section proving and project hand back.
